How Acupuncture Cures Anxiety Panic Attacks?

I discovered many people talking (on-line) about the bad reaction to a medication. So I did intense research and tried to find if there's any other alternative treatment for panic attacks (accidentally, I also found Panic Away, AnxietyZap books very interesting).

I discovered that many people were relieved and happy with accupuncture. I also consulted my doctor to know what he says about the acupuncture treatment.

He said it'd be OK but costs a little more.

Here's what my doctor explained to me briefly about how acupuncture works…

Acupuncture treats panic attack by detecting the deficiency of vital energy (Qi). It could be in the kidney or spleen
meridians.

Then stimulating the acupuncture points with needles or magnets, it releases endorphins, enkephalins and other well-being hormones.

You have to attend a few sessions. The therapist will  tap sterilized acupuncture needles into certain specific pressure points in your body to get your vital energy into balance.

This alternative treatment calms down your nervous system and gives you great relief. He firmly says acupuncture works great for anxiety and panic attacks.

For some people acupuncture may not work magically overnight. It might take a few days to few months. It depends on the severity of your vital energy blockage.

Once the blockage is cleared away, you'll become normal. And anxiety panic attack won't be a problem!
